• The Babysitter follows a lonely, 12-year-old boy who falls in love with his hot babysitter only to discover that she’s part of a satanic cult that wants to kill him.

  • Cameron Scott Cullen It's an excellent Horror Flick. It works perfectly at combining both elements. It's like watching Scott Pilgrim and Evil Dead combined
  • Manny Alaffa This is more like John Dies at the End and Tucker and Dale vs Evil. It’s an intentional B movie that is clever and fun. It was never serious even with how people died. If you classified this as horror you were watching the wrong movie. It isn’t comedy either. It’s more exploitation and satire. McG has made some good movies and this one is a good one too if you view it through the right lens.
  • Marius Møller People who don't like this are people who don't understand how a horror movie can be good without scaring you half up death.. A horror movie only have to have horrifying events happen to the characters to be a horror movie, it can be funny, action, silent, psychological, gory or a combination of all and its still a horror movie. From Henry portrait of a serial killer to Friday the 13th, to cannibal holocaust to scream, the 00 remakes, Texas chainsaw, Halloween, poltergeist, exorcist akl are different and I love them for it.. If you think a horror movie is just supposed to be scary or that all horror movies are kids in a cabin in the woods then your opinion is not even a valid one
  • To be fair, The Babysitter isn’t trying to be brilliant. It’s a crass teen comedy that ogles young women, makes tawdry sex jokes and oversells every little moment just in case you didn’t get it. The words “WHAT THE F**K” literally fill the screen when our hero, Cole (Judah Lewis), sees his seemingly awesome babysitter, Bee (Samara Weaving), kill somebody
